Swarnim Wagle

Biography

Swarnim Wagle has been nominated as a candidate for the by-election from the Rastriya Swatantra Party in Tanahun-1. Prior to joining Rabi Lamichhane’s party, Wagle was associated with the Nepali Congress. He will be competing against Govinda Bhattarai of Congress, and Sarbendra Khanal from the CPN-UML among other candidates. Many well-known faces are in the fray for the Tanahun 1 seat and people are eagerly waiting for the election results and election updates. The lower house seat of Tanahun-1 became vacant after Ram Chandra Poudel, who was elected from the constituency, was elected as the President.
